Smart Building Solutions

UCT Smart Building Control System

Our Top Priority is “the Comfort and Convenience of the People Working at the Office.”

Many sensors installed at the office grasp the details of the space and control the environment smoothly. People in the building can control the level of comfort from their smartphones without touching the switches or a remote controller. You can also find how crowded the shared space is. Target facilities are not limited to lighting and air conditioner, but include electronic locks, automatic doors, elevators, automatic control blinds, and other building facilities.

Up-to-Date Facility Control Even After 30 Years

Smart building control software is continuously updating and evolving. The system becomes smarter by adopting big data and AI. Instead of conventional central monitoring, a flexible and expandable system can be produced using the cloud.

Measurement for Energy Saving

The latest equipment is optimized by measuring the building’s status and people’s movements in detail. Analyzing this data helps us detect waste so that we can control the building to eliminate it while maintaining comfort. UCT’s smart building control devices are recommended for such use.

Connect Any Equipment, Make What You Envision. That is UCT Technology.

When it comes to connecting equipment to smart building software, please leave it to us. We can realize smart control for the equipment that allows external control and whose specification is available. If you have some desirable and specific equipment in mind, please contact us. We can develop it to your preference.

TRON Building OS

UCT Smart Building Control System is built based on the concept of TRON building OS. TRON building OS plays an essential role as a common platform to create smart buildings, applying the concept of OS (Operating System) in ICT.

Features of TRON Building OS

  • Virtual Facility Control
Facility control is virtualized to allow universal operation irrespective of manufacturers so that various types of applications can be developed and deployed easily.
  • Open API
API is publicly available based on “open API,” the concept of TRON project.
  • Access Right Management
Access right management controls the details of who can do what for obtaining building status, operating facilities, and changing parameters.
  • IoT Aggregator
IoT Aggregator facilitates smooth collaboration with the facility manufacturers’ clouds.

Smart Building Platform evolves toward the future with these elements

Devices for the “New Normal” Era

Non-Contact Switch

  • A switch is activated when you place your hand a few centimeters (about an inch) away from it.
  • The switch connects to the server via a 6LoWPAN IoT wireless network so it can be used for many purposes, such as turning on/off lights and air conditioners at once.
  • Additionally, the system can show other office facilities’ status. For example, the display will indicate which web conference booths are in use, as the information is transmitted to the server.

Air Touch Device

  • You can operate the projected virtual images in the air with your finger instead of tapping a touch panel.
  • The air touch device can replace touch panels of unattended reception terminals, etc.

Facility Control with Your Smartphone

  • A smartphone plays a role in controlling facilities via the smart building platform.
  • In addition to the lights and air conditioner operation, you can call an elevator and request the destination floor from your smartphone, for example.

Smart Locker

  • A smart locker can be unlocked under the server control.
  • Users can access a locker with their IC card or scanning a QR code with their smartphones.
  • Placing smart lockers and card readers in various locations provides high flexibility since both communicate with the server via a 6LoWPAN IoT wireless network.
