Many types of ITRON-specification OS and T-Kernel have been widely used for satellites and rockets as embedded real-time operating systems. Their low power consumption and real-time performance have been valued in the aerospace field.

Based on such achievements, various know-how and software assets related to TRON specification OS have been accumulated in the aerospace field, and T-Kernel for the next generation aerospace industry has been demanded for some time.

To meet such demand, YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory has developed T-Kernel 2.0 AeroSpace with the necessary functions for the highly reliable real-time OS (RTOS). The new RTOS was developed starting from the latest publicly available T-Kernel 2.0.

The high reliability brought about by T-Kernel 2.0 AeroSpace will support future requirements not only in the aerospace field but also in the areas of transportation, medical devices, FA, etc. Its use will expand to those areas. For applications in the areas, UC Technology provides an evaluation kit and a development kit utilizing T-Kernel 2.0 AeroSpace.
